Nitrogen-Phosphorus Fertilizers

Project Detail

MAP and DAP are complex fertilizers, where in one granule the two main elements – Nitrogen and Phosphorus (P2O5) are combined chemically! (No blending)

DAP

DAP is a complex mineral fertilizer that contains the two main nutrient elements – 18 % N and 46 % /P2O5 /. The phosphates are well soluble – 43% out of the total amount of 46 %, and the nitrogen is in ammonia form. It is produced from a chemical reaction between Phosphoric acid and ammonia. This product is relatively easy to apply due to its excellent physical qualities, hardness and uniformness of the granules, as well as its good water solubility. DAP is used for every soils and crops, and it is applied before sowing, as well as combined with the nitrogen fertilizer during the spring season. The presence of the two main nutrient elements – nitrogen and phosphorus helps for achieving balance in the soil and allows it to be used prior to sowing and nourishing of the crops.

Advantages:

  • High concentrated fertilizer containing 46 % phosphates – 43 % fully water soluble
  • Balanced application containing the main nutrients (N and P)
  • Good transport and storage qualities: non hygroscopic, non-dust forming, treated with anti-caking agents
  • Uniform granulometry – easy to spread

Triple Superphosphate (TSP)

TSPTESTTriple Superphosphate is a highly concentrated phosphate fertilizer containing 46 % /P2O5 / and it is suitable for application in alkaline and neutral soils. The high concentration of phosphates helps the developing of the plant’s root system, assimilation of water and nutrients from the plants, as well as improving their resistance to stress and low temperatures. This product is applied primarily during the fall campaign, due to the longer needed time for the adoption of the phosphates by the plants. The other – soluble part of the phosphates is assimilated much faster supporting the momentum needs of the plant. Therefore the application of a phosphate fertilizer can supply the necessary /P2O5 / for next campaigns and other crops.
