Ammonium Sulphate (AS)

Ammonium sulphate (AS) contains 20% nitrogen (N) in ammonium form and 24% sulfur (S) in sulfate form, the most sulfur-concentrated fertilizer. The product is completely water soluble and plant nutrients are readily available. Good physical and chemical properties allow optimum storage. Ammonium nitrogen is permanently bound to soil particles and is resistant to loss by leaching.

  • Ammonium sulphate can be applied in the fertilization of all agricultural crops
  • Specially designed for crops that require larger amounts of sulfur – oilseeds and brassicas; crops that prefer the ammonium form of nitrogen
  • A physiologically acidic fertilizer which, when applied to weakly alkaline and alkaline soils, lowers the pH and promotes greater availability of phosphorus from poorly soluble calcium phosphates as well as the blocked trace elements boron (B), zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn) and iron (Fe).
