Sembodja offers selected sunflower hybrids of the French company Maisadour Group. The hybrids cover all technological segments (conventional, imazamox-tolerant and tribenuron-methyl-tolerant) and groups of early maturity in Bulgaria. The selected hybrids exhibit quick initial growth, resistance to thermal or moisture stress, resistance to biotic stress. Quality of the seed offered is of the highest standard and something we work for without compromise. The climatic conditions of Bulgaria are favorable for cultivation of many varieties of sunflower depending on the area of application (oilseed, bird feed, confectionery, etc.) and technology (conventional, imazamox-tolerant or tribenuron-methyl-tolerant). Selecting a suitable hybrid should be carefully estimated and according to the specifics of each field: climate, soil type, soil contamination (e.g. broomrape, sclerotinia, downy mildew), type of weeds, etc. The modern hybrids exhibit substantial yield potential and therefore higher demand for macro- and micronutrients. The use of certified seeds of proven origin is an important requirement for successful crop development and excellent yields.
