Sembodja offers a premium selection of wheat seed from the leading Italian seed producer Semetica. The varieties offered are carefully selected to meet the specific technological requirements of the Bulgarian farmers in the different market segments from soft wheat for maximum yield to soft and durum wheat for high industrial quality of the grain. Quality of the seed offered is of the highest standard and something we work for without compromise. Wheat is the cereal crop occupying the largest area in the country – about 25% of the arable land and about 50% of the area planted with cereals. The wheat varieties offered by Sembodja are listed in the Common European Catalog of Seeds and can be traded in Bulgaria. Furthermore, each variety of wheat seed is subject to evaluation for its endurance to the main forms of abiotic and biotic stress before it reaches our customers.
