The Laboratory for Soil and Water Analysis at Sembodja was established in 2012 with the aim of providing expertise in plant nutrition to enhance soil fertility and ensure environmental protection by analyzing the presence of essential nutrients in soil, water, and plant tissue.
We develop innovative procedures for chemical analysis in collaboration with experienced and highly qualified specialists from laboratories in Bulgaria and abroad, which guarantees for the reliability and trueness of the obtained results. Sembodja also offers automatic soil sampling by means of own specilised sampling equipment. Due to these additional services to its customers and partners, Sembodja has turned into a reliable partner and agronomic consultant to the farmers.
Soil samples can be collected both from individual farmers and through automated professional soil probes to accurately sample a large number of soil samples per unit of time. The soil samples undergo diagnostics using specific chemical analysis to determine the presence of primary and secondary nutrients in the soil. The results obtained provide insight into the soil’s nutrient status. Further on, taking into consideration the analysis results, as well as environmental conditions (soil type, climate, etc.), cultivated crops, and target yields, the laboratory issues fertilization recommendations. These recommendations are based on scientifically justified advice derived from innovative methodologies for analysis and control of soil samples.
