- Long-term availability of nitrogen in ammonium form ensures consistent and secure crop nutrition.
- Protection against losses from leaching and denitrification.
- High sulfur content supports protein synthesis and enhances nitrogen uptake efficiency.
- Acts as a chelating agent, positively impacting the absorption of blocked phosphorus and micronutrients from the soil.
- Improves the alkaline environment in the rhizosphere of alkaline soils, facilitating nutrient uptake and crop development.
NitroTec® 21
NitroTec® 21 is ammonium sulfate treated with the nitrification inhibitor Vibelsol® (DMPP) from BASF. This product provides 21% nitrogen in the ammonium form, ensuring effective, long-lasting nitrogen nutrition in both ammonium and nitrate forms over time.
NitroTec® 21 adheres strongly to soil particles, minimizing losses from leaching. It is particularly beneficial for alkaline soils, capable of lowering pH in the rhizosphere by up to 2 units, which enhances the uptake of essential nutrients from the soil.
With 24% sulfur in sulfate form, NitroTec® 21 also serves as a valuable source of sulfur for soil replenishment.
